Hey Fam,
Today was a great day with Lucille. She is up to 1835 grams which is about 4 lbs 0.07oz. Lucie Pie is "sprinting" like a gazelle, she got up to 8 hours on th Nasal SPONT ventilation settings last night and we are prayerful that she will continue to crush it! As you know, we don't have as much to update on the weekends since the medical team prefers not to make too many adjustments until they run their weekly labs on Mondays. SO, I guess that means just one more thing... photo time!!!!
We wanted to show a "before" and "after" shot of our bedroom/ nursery nook. We still have more to do in terms of setting it up, but the big pieces are completed. To us, it feels like things are coming together, and it was exciting to start preparing for Lucie's homecoming, as April is just around the corner. Being able to start setting up Lucie's space in our apartment felt like a normal and timely thing to do... like we got to experience a little bit of the normal steps that come along with expecting your first baby's arrival. We are really grateful for that. We also have some photos of Lucie from today (we had a special visit from one of Drea's friends that she's known since high school and who lives up here in NYC with her husband). Enjoy!
