Oh, you're still here... GREAT, because the prayers and support are always needed (and forever appreciated)!
Since you're here, we might as well tell you, again, how cute and fierce our little girls is. As you know a speech/feeding therapist and a nutritionalist were recently added to Lucie's awesome therapy team. They have us "sneaking" in things like mayo, coconut oil, eggs, etc. to help fatten Lucie up :D. It's been kinda fun, especially since everyone seems to always try to take out fatty items :D BUT NOT US! The fat kid inside me is so proud. (She's up to 16 lbs, 8 oz now, for those keeping track at home.)
Ms. Lucie-Pie has added "singing" to go along with her banging and clapping. It definitely makes the noise more pleasant :D, she has the sweetest little "singing" voice. Next stop, karaoke night!... HA-yea right! I hate karaoke, I know, big surprise - but it's true. Drea and our friends have been trying to get one planned, but thank GOD I have been spared so far. Anyway, back to Lucie! She also really loves to hear YOU sing to her, "If You're Happy and You Know it" and, "The Wheels on the Bus", are two of her favorites. Most recently she realized that her tractor sings "Old Mc'Donald". Her head shot up and she looked at us clapping this morning as if to say: "WHAT?! This thing sings Old Mc'Donald?! Are you, KIDDING ME?! This is awesooooooooome!"
As our little one grows up, and SO FAST by the way, she is now officially standing on her own. Yup, bridging from object to object as she cruises and before you know will be walking. I know exactly what you're thinking, the shoe obsession will soon begin... and then not too long after that Lucie will be obsessed too ;). Soon I will have to start working on her sprinting technique and adding ladder drills to her therapy sessions ;).
Thank you all as always for your prayers and support. We can never thank you enough. Please enjoy the photos of our little one and her CURLY hair :D.
Love, Los Hicksons
