Happy Easter, friends!
We'll just give a quick update for you today, so you can get back to fun Easter egg hunts and delicious dinners. We made our way to the hospital extra early this morning to put Lucie in her Easter dress and to take some pictures. Afterward we went to church and it was great to reflect on what a glorious day today is and how we can celebrate that through Jesus' life, death and resurrection we can have grace, forgivenss and a relationship with Him. We're so thankful that He has been with us every step of the way these past few months, even when it has been scary, painful and hard.
Lucie is doing great on her third day of the five day countdown, she weighed 3,310 grams last night or 7lbs and 5oz. Today her head circumference was 34cm and her length was 47cm or 18.5 inches. She has been taking every single mL of her feedings today with much less difficulty than yesterday. We're still trying to figure out what seems to be bugging her though, whether it's the bottle, the milk or that she's just tired or gassy. We'll get to the bottom of it! We're extremly grateful that she's at least feeding, and that they didn't put her feeding tube back in.
