Hi there everyone,
Today we found out that Lucie had a Brady and desat while she was asleep which means that after three days on the countdown we're restarting it. We're hoping she'll be home either Tuesday or Wednesday of next week now. It was a bummer to find out that her time at the hospital would be extended, but we knew this could happen and we'd seen many of the other babies go through this as well in the last few days before they are about to leave. Lucie-Lyn's head sonogram came back unchanged and the dilation of the ventricals are considered "mild" now.
Lucille weighed 3,335 g tonight, a lovely 7lbs 5.6 oz. Other than that one episode, she has been great! Breathing on her own and taking every single drop in all of her bottles. She is active and it really shows when she's hungry because she'll move around and stick out her tongue a lot. We can't wait to have her home with us. Thanks for all your love and support friends!
