HEY-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO,
So we got to go see our sweet Lucille today and she is just continuing to do so well and showing us that the ligation was so very needed. They have increased her feeds yet again and she is now up to 8.5mL. Lucie Pie continues to be weaned off of the vents a bit, and thankfully, she is able to tolerate the new settings. And, OH, OH, OH, pick me, pick me!!! Thanks! We had not one, but TWO Kangaroo Cares! One for Mommy and one for Daddy!
Mommy was put to work today and helped with some of Lucie-Lyn's "Cares". She took Lucie's temperature and got to change her DIAPER for the FIRST TIME! Whoop whoop! Took three diapers before Lucie didn't get one dirty, hahaha, another story to embarrass her with down the road. I still haven't changed one, but, I think I'll wait until she's home and let the nurses take care of that for now... after all, I'm sure I'll have plenty of opportunities, if ya know what I mean ;).
