Lucille is continuing to soar. They started "sprinting" her again on Nasal SPONT around 2am this morning after a "short" 5 hour break and as of now she is still going strong, which is excellent!
We have so many updates tonight! Lucie has been working hard! We just have to say thank you to you all for your continued prayers. God is strengthening our little fighter more and more each day.
Today was a great day with Lucille. She is up to 1835 grams which is about 4 lbs 0.07oz. Lucie Pie is "sprinting" like a gazelle, she got up to 8 hours on th Nasal SPONT ventilation settings last night and we are prayerful that she will continue to crush it!
Whew, we are exhausted, it has been a long, cold week up here in NYC. That hasn't stopped Lucie though, she has been warm and toasty! We just wanted to share a quick update before we get to bed for some much needed shut eye. (Rob got a head start, as you can see below!)
Lucille has had yet another strong day, and is an official 9 weeker! Lucie is continuing to "sprint" and they have her doing this for three hour span each shift, up from yesterday's hour!
As we celebrate our little two month old daughter, it is so overwhelmingly wonderful to also think about all of your faithful prayers and support for two months as well. It has been quite the ride and we know there is still more to go.
Happy Presidents Day! For those of you that got to have a day off I hope it was a good one, also please know I'm just saying that to be polite as I did not have off ;). Back to what these updates are all about, LUCILLE!!!!
