Happy Wednesday, dear friends,
First, thank you all for your encouraging comments and emails. They really do mean so much to us and are a huge help. We don't know what we would do without your support as well as the Lord strengthening us and sometimes carrying us through each day. It's a blessing to have you all as friends and family, and to know that you are still along side us in this time. We thank God for you all.
On to our Lucie-Lyn! She is considered 34 weeks today and is continuing to rock out! Remember, Lucille is measured along two ages; her real age (just over two months old), and her "corrected age" tracking towards her due date of April 8th, where Andrea would be 34 weeks pregnant. Lucie Pie accomplished 30 HOURS on Nasal SPONT and at 8am she took a 3 hour break. Lucie has been on Nasal SPONT again since 11am and is doing well. Her Isolette is still off and we are encouraged that even though she's working so much and burning a lot of calories, her weight is up to 2035 grams, that's right, TWO KILOS!… which is 4 lbs 7.8 oz. Lucie-Lyn is continuing to look more and more beautiful every day :D... but don't take our word for it, see for yourselves!
We thought it would be really cool to do a comparison of some older photos of Lucie. We looked up some photos we took a while back and tried to recreate them, so that you could all see just how much she has progressed. It truly is a ongoing miracle.
We love you all and again want to thank you for all your prayers and support. Please continue to pray for us to have some rest and enough time in the day to get things done. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
